Word 2003 Introduction (1 Day Course)
Brief Outline:
This course concentrates on the user-friendly features of Word. You will understand what is meant by ‘word processing’. You will go through the different parts of the Word screen, how to set up your document and how to type in text, save and open documents, edit, delete and rearrange text and more.
This course allows you to obtain the basic results you need in minimal time, while alerting you to things to watch out for and be careful of. Throughout the course, you will learn keyboard shortcuts and mouse shortcuts for super efficiency.
By the end of the course you will create an example of a standard letter addressed to a customer.

- Describe the Word screen.

- Enter and edit text.
- Save and open a document.
- Navigate the page with mouse and keys.
- Zoom into and out of the page.

Brief Outline:

This course is for Word power-users. You will learn how to work with templates, styles, table of contents and an index of words.
You will learn how to work with complex documents that contain pages with different orientations, how to use powerful captions and cross-references features and how to use tabs.
You will also learn how to create macros and use them to speed up and automate your work. Hands-on exercises also cover how to create advanced auto-filled forms.
