Learn the important features of setting up your company file so that the everyday transactions are correctly managed by the program. Your understanding of the GST will be enhanced during the hands-on exercises.
You will also look at how to set up the general ledger control accounts, GST tax codes, and ways to make the BAS (Business Activity Statement) easier and less of a headache!
You will learn how to check your company set up and ensure that all the ‘behind-the-scenes’ transactions are working correctly. You will create an example of a typical business/company file and you will be able to ask questions relevant to your business or place of work.

- Enter opening balances for accounts, customers and suppliers.

This course covers the day-to-day activities of running a business. Create, records and print sales invoices, cash sales and bills with ease! An important part of the learning is how to save time with quick entry techniques and short cuts.
You will work with an example of a typical business file and will learn how to enter typical day to day transactions.

The payroll module in QuickBooks is a powerful yet easy-to-learn part of this popular accounting application. A business with anywhere from one to about fifty employees will benefit from the ease with which payroll can be set up and managed.
In our comprehensive course, you’ll learn how to set up wages categories, how to ensure that superannuation is calculated correctly, and how to set up entitlements such as holiday leave correctly for your employees.
