General Outline
This course takes you to the next stage in using ACT! as a powerful database tool for managing your contacts, customers, clients, correspondence, and meetings and tasks.

The emphasis in this course is on the customisation of an ACT! database and the application of your business to using ACT! as an important sales and marketing tool. You will look at more advanced customisation of the screen layout and ACT! fields, and you will create and editing your own report and document templates.

With the relatively small class sizes, you'll also have the opportunity to receive one-on-one consultancy for customising ACT! so that you can implement any special marketing activities you carry out in your business. The trainer has a wide range of experience in marketing activities and so will be able to make suggestions to you that may improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your marketing activities.

More work will be done on the customising of databases. You will cover exercises that look at creating and using macros that automate common tasks you carry out. More advanced work in the customisation of the ACT! screen, including the toolbars, menus and screen layout is also covered in the course.

You'll also cover the important aspects of database management, such as backing up, database synchronisation, database password and access management, and other important features.

The Power-User course will give you much more confidence to customise ACT! to exactly what you want it to do for your sales and marketing activities.
